Skip's 7/8-14 Sizing Die Shims
$14.00Adjusting a 7/8-14 threaded sizing die (or threaded seater die) to the exact shoulder bump you need is a laborious process. This set of seven 7/8” die shims enables you to set the die up once, then adjust the die in small, exact increments without loosening the die lock ring and starting over. We suggest setting up all threaded dies with a .005” or .006” shim under the lock ring for the initial setting. Sizing .001” more or less from the initial setting is then as simple as changing the shim. This set of seven notched marked steel shims includes .003”, .004”, .005”, .006”, .007”, .008” and .010” thicknesses. These are the original “Skip’s Machine” sizing die shims.
