PMA Tool Expander Mandrels

These PMA Tool Expanding Mandrels are machined from 17-4 medical grade stainless steel to give them a smoother, harder and more corrosion resistant surface. Mandrels are also longer than most expander mandrels on the market, and they feature a œdouble taper which expands on both the up stroke and down stroke of the press. All PMA Tool Expanders are turned to .003 under bullet diameter to give you the correct fit of your cases on most neck turning mandrels. We strongly suggest that all new cases be expanded with a properly fitting expander mandrel prior to neck turning. These expander mandrels fit the PMA Tool Expander Die ((30-125 on this site), the Sinclair expander die body and most other expander dies which require a 3/8 die shank. Expander die sold separately.
