Benchrite Case Lathe for Neck Turning

$575.00

Our powered Case Lathe makes neck turning brass an easy, pleasant job instead of a necessary project to be dreaded and put off. This power turning system is the result of many years of using and experimenting with neck turning systems to find the best balance of speed, convenience, power, ease of use and quiet operation. Any brand, style or make of hand-held neck turner will work well with the Benchrite Lathe. The 1/20th HP gearmotor turns cases at 181 RPM with plenty of torque to prevent motor drag down when making large cuts. Cases are held by the updated case holder and spindle system which makes inserting, tightening and removing cases from the lathe a snap. Heavy duty switch, 16ga. grounded power cord, professional finish and anti-vibration rubber feet complete a tool made to perform perfectly for many years. The Benchrite Neck Turning Lathe System comes complete with large primer or small primer spindle and one case holder. Choose included spindle and case holder to match the case head of the cartridge you wish to turn. Additional spindles and case holders may be ordered separately. Instructions included, made in USA.

UPDATE 03/18/2023  LATHE MOTORS ARE AGAIN OUT OF STOCK ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

Benchrite Case Lathe for neck turning

Got this Friday afternoon, unpacked it, read the manual, assembled the motor/gearbox assembly to the base, and decided to give it a try. What I found was an excellent device for turning case necks, not lacking in power, reasonably quiet, heavy enough that it doesn't move around on my loading bench, overall a nice piece of equipment! AND, above all, at the price that they get to turn necks, $1.00 to $1.05 per case, will pay for itself in 500 cases, most things you buy for the shooting sport can't say that!!!
